Classe 1985. Gli olivi di Volterra sono stati i primi a farsi fotografare. Ero ancora una gnoma di dieci anni quando la sera, alla luce delle sette, uscivo a fotografare gli alberi. Oggi il reportage è il tipo di fotografia che mi appassiona di più, ma mi diverto anche a fare altro. Fotografare mi allena a osservare meglio, più a fondo, più lentamente e a immaginare storie da raccontare. Amo quello che faccio e continuo a controllare il cassettino dei sogni, per accertarmi che ce ne sia sempre uno pronto a germogliare.

Born in 1985. The olive trees of Volterra (Tuscany) have been the first subjects to be photographed. I was ten years old when I started to leave the house in the evenings to photograph the trees. Today the photographic reportage is my favorite but I also enjoy doing other things. Taking pictures encourages me to observe more carefully, deeply and slowly… and dream about stories behind and within the pictures. I love what I do and I keep on opening my dreams’ drawer to make sure that there is always one ready to bloom.
